The swimming pool at Longford Sports and Leisure Centre consists of a state of the art 25m six lane pool, 12.5m X 5.5m learner pool, sauna, steam room and modern changing village.

At the shallow end the main pool is 1 Meter deep while at the deep end the pool is 2.2m deep. The learner pool is 0.4m deep at one end increasing to 0.7m at the other.

The swimming pool has an excellent changing village comprising of cubicles for singles and families plus separate male and female group changing areas.  There are also 2 state of the art accessible areas each containing a ceiling hoist, shower bed and 2 shower units.  The swimming also has a mobile pool side hoist available for use.

The pool is available to the public as well as to all local clubs and organisations.
